Attorney Yueqi Yang is an Associate Attorney at Causey & Ye Law, P.L.L.C. She focuses her practice on U.S. immigration law, representing clients in family-based and employment-based green cards, naturalization, H-1B and other employment visas, change of status, and visa extensions. She also represents clients seeking asylum or refugee status and provides defense in removal and deportation proceedings. Yueqi is licensed to practice law in both California and Massachusetts.
Originally from California, Yueqi earned her dual Bachelor’s degrees in Sociology and Japanese Language and Literature from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She went on to earn her Juris Doctor from The George Washington University School of Law, where she participated in the Civil and Human Rights Clinic and contributed to the George Washington Journal of Energy & Environmental Law. During her legal training, she also gained hands-on experience at Magaletta, McCarthy & Nader, P.C., working on asylum and cancellation of removal cases, and at the Shanghai Jingan District People’s Court, where she supported judicial and administrative functions.
Fluent in English and Mandarin and proficient in Japanese, Yueqi brings a global perspective to her practice, helping clients navigate the complexities of the U.S. immigration system with precision and compassion.
