Marta Nickols

Marta brings more than 17 years of experience with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), where she served in leadership roles including Field Office Director and Assistant Center Director. Throughout her USCIS career, she adjudicated and supervised thousands of immigration matters and oversaw interviews, adjudications, quality assurance, and field office operations involving both family-based and employment-based immigration.

As an immigrant herself, Marta brings a perspective shaped by both personal experience with the U.S. immigration system and extensive professional experience from inside USCIS. Her background gives her a strong understanding of how immigration officers evaluate evidence, assess credibility, and make adjudicative decisions.

In her new role with Causey & Ye Law, Marta will help lead the firm’s business development, community and professional outreach, client relations, recruiting, and internal team development. She will also work closely with our attorneys and management team to strengthen client service, expand professional and community partnerships, and support the continued growth of the firm.
