Colin graduated from the University of Iowa College of Law in 2024 and has been practicing ever since. He received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from the University of Iowa in 2019 and also received a certificate of Social Science Analytics, specializing in statistics in various social sciences.
Colin represents clients primarily in civil litigation matters. However, he also has experience in other practice areas like family law, criminal law (minor offenses), and administrative law.
He handles all aspects of litigation, from filing petitions (initiating lawsuits) to conducting discovery, motion practice (including summary judgment), negotiating settlements, trials, and post-trial work. He has second-chaired trials and conducted a trial as first-chair attorney. Additionally, he has experience in appellate work, including drafting appellate briefs, preparing supervising attorneys for oral arguments, and drafting (or resisting) applications for further review to the Iowa Supreme Court.
His litigation practice has been broad and has included personal injury, business litigation, foreclosures, defending licensed professionals against disciplinary proceedings, and debt collection defense. Moreover, he has experience in Plaintiff’s work in debt collection after obtaining favorable judgments.
